Chairman of IFIC Bank Mr.Md. Lutfar Rahman met the Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal Mr.Madhav Kumar Nepal on Saturday at the former’s residence in Kathmandu. During the meeting,Mr. Rahman highlighted on the various potentialities and prospects on the Bangladeshi investments in Nepal and also briefed the Hon. Prime Minister on the progress made by Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NB Bank) which as established 15 years back as a joint venture Bank in Nepal between IFIC Bank and NB Group of Nepal. The Bank has a paid up capital of NRs. 184 crores and has a network of 17 branches. The Nepalese Prime Minister welcomed the Bangladeshi investments in Nepal and assured that the Govt. of Nepal will always facilitate the foreign investments and that Nepal always had and will have a cordial relationship with Bangladesh. |
